Hi, there! I’m Lindsay Steele, founder of Gather and Munch. I love sharing the things that I love: good food, party ideas, and fun crafts!
My family instilled in me a love of good food. Some of my very favorite childhood memories took place around long tables covered in food. It was always accompanied by lots of laughs, lots of stories, and lots of dirty dishes left in the kitchen sink.
Food is so much more than just calories. Food is culture. Food is connection. Food is service. Food is celebration. Food is family. Food is love.
I’ve loved throwing parties since I was a kid. My house was the “party house” when I was a teenager, and I loved hosting people! Now that I’m a mom, I’ve channeled my party energy into celebrations for my little girl. I love to create decorations for holidays and birthdays. The satisfaction you get from making something with your own hands is just unmatched!
I live with my husband and our sweet one-year-old daughter near Salt Lake City, Utah. When I’m not cooking or crafting, I love to read, travel, and spend time with family and friends.
